LUNA DESIGN Inc. was founded by Steven Moseley. Steven earned his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in 1999. He studied Scandinavian Architecture and Design in Copenhagen, Denmark for his fourth year coursework. He also completed a Furniture Design summer program in Copenhagen in association with the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design. Shortly after graduating, he began focusing on custom residential architecture, in Palm Springs, CA. He gained a respect for the technical requirements for building in the gorgeous and often extreme desert environment and fell in love with the region's mid-century modern masterpieces. Later he moved to San Francisco where he continued working in small firms specializing in Modern and Victorian Transitional residential architecture. In 2006, Steven joined Michelle Kaufmann Designs as a project manager for custom pre-fabricated homes specializing in green, sustainable architecture. He now lives in Sonoma Valley with his wife Esmeralda, daughter Maya, and son Mateo. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and has completed his Architectural Registration Examinations. He's looking forward to completing his one remaining exam (the California Supplemental Exam) after which, he will obtain California licensure.
